Crystal Harp Blog - Sound Healing, 432 Hz & Practice Tips
You don't always have an hour, a separate room and a clear head. Sometimes you can just sit down for a few minutes, play a familiar phrase, and go back to the rest of your day. It's for moments like these that a short harp ritual comes in handy: simple to start and specific enough not to have to wonder what to do every time.
The backpack is already in the room. You are about to hear your own harp up close for the first time - right where you will be playing it. Prepare a comfortable seat and some free space; the first twenty minutes will be devoted to setting up the instrument, getting to know the tubes and one melody that is easy to come back to.
You look at eight tubes and wonder whether you need to know music theory to get something beautiful out of them. To start with, much less is enough: a gentle movement of the mallet, two selected notes and the ability to stop for a moment. The melody may appear before you learn its name.
